Casa de Rose is a collection of exclusively rosé wines developed for Zarea, one of Romania’s established wine producers. From the beginning, the project was strongly connected to the physical presence of the bottle. A distinctive bottle shape was selected specifically for the range, giving the collection an elegant silhouette and reinforcing the feminine character of the wines.
The design approach was built around the idea contained in the name itself – Casa de Rose, the House of Rosé. Rather than treating the name as a purely typographic element, we translated it into a visual setting: a stylised illustration of a classic winery becomes the central motif of the label, creating the feeling of a small, imagined home for the wine.
The rustic character of the illustration introduces a sense of tradition and place, while the restrained palette and contemporary label composition keep the overall image fresh and approachable. The label also follows the proportions and curves of the bottle, allowing the packaging and the wine inside it to work as one visual object.
The result is a deliberately coherent identity in which bottle, label, illustration and wine colour reinforce one another. The soft pink character of the product is not simply communicated through colour, but becomes part of the overall visual language, giving Casa de Rose a distinctive and immediately recognisable presence on the shelf.
