Francesco Gioia is a designer and founder of saluti fg, an independent brand design studio based in Italy.

Born in Ferrara in 1979, he obtained a master’s degree in industrial design at the Faculty of Architecture in Palermo.
In 2007 he started his career as a graphic designer at the Dutch studio Total Design. Later returned to Sicily, he independently organizes his own studio, working from the very beginning on visual identity design for public bodies and private companies, branding, packaging and type design.
Over the years he has been able to confront and develop projects of growing complexity with several important companies in the regional and national territory. The research, experimentation and continuous evolution of a rigorous design method oriented to typography/ lettering remain always the starting point of every project.
In parallel since 2009 he started his teaching career at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, then continued at the Accademia di Palermo, and today holds a chair of Graphic Design and Art Direction at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.more..
