Shotted is a vibrant, community-driven lifestyle café concept engineered as a culturally inspired social space for the U.S. market. Evolving from a humble student-led coffee cart into a multi-location brand, the project demanded a comprehensive brand uplift and packaging system to support its strategic international expansion. Built on the core values of inclusivity and connection, the identity positions Shotted as a family-friendly, alcohol-free social hub that bridges traditional hospitality with a modern lifestyle aesthetic. The visual evolution intentionally moves away from stark black to embrace a warm, balanced colorway featuring a refined signature orange paired with rich, non-white substrates that elevate the brand’s premium presence.
To accommodate Shotted’s dual business model—spanning from an accessible lifestyle café to an elevated specialty coffee and retail bean experience—the packaging system utilizes a flexible and deeply expressive design language. The layout celebrates cultural representation by seamlessly integrating sophisticated Arabic typography and custom Saudi-inspired patterns across an extensive merchandise and packaging suite. The execution introduces custom-colored, tactile hot and cold paper cups, bespoke ice cream packaging, and highly stylized 4oz Qahwa cups tailored for premium embassy catering. Every touchpoint, from the structured coffee bags to the branded butter sheets, utilizes a clean and un-cluttered visual hierarchy that prioritizes structural functionality while retaining instant brand recognition on the shelf.
By pairing modern community-driven graphics with a deeply thoughtful, tactile material palette, the system successfully elevates Shotted from a local specialty shop to an expansive lifestyle icon. The result is a memorable, high-contrast visual identity that feels effortlessly welcoming and deeply resonant across all demographics, creating an authentic emotional connection on any table or storefront.
