What is a garden, if not magic? With a striking and textural design evoking the lush gardens that surround Rideau’s tasting room, each varietal features a custom illustration that is beautifully cohesive as a series and elevates the brand identity. Along with our redesign, Rideau launched a new series of passion project wines. Each wine in this new Adobe Series received a custom illustration of a character from their historic tasting room’s past, bringing their complex story to life in a truly unique way.
What’s Unique?
Each label features a textural emboss across the entire label and each varietal has custom center piece and spot varnish plate that is specific to that varietal. There are three tiers of labels for their sourced, Estate Grown, and Reserve wines. The Estate Grown varietals feature a gold foil accent along with a deeper, more rich color palette, while the Reserve wines invert to an all black design. With so many varietals in the Rideau library, we had to find a unique way to make the different varietals stand alone, but also to feel like a cohesive brand that represents and feels like the Adobe on the Estate property [covered in rose bushes, flowers, arches, like a secret garden]. The sculpted emboss creates a unique depth to the package and creates a textural experience similar to the gardens on the Estate property.
