Bobby&Po: dog perfume

No matter how much you pay attention to your dog’s hygiene, there will be days when your dog smells bad. It may not just be because of the dirt or dust but can even be because of moisture in the air. So, if there is a special occasion and you want your pet to look and smell good, you will have to go for dog perfumes. These special perfumes are made from dog-safe ingredients and do not irritate the coat of your pet.

The packaging of the product is eye-catchy and will stick out on shelves as the bottles themselves are mini puppies. The packaging represents 2 dogs: Bobby and Po, which also is used for brand naming (Bobby&Po).  This conceptual packaging is designed in a minimalist way, thus being somewhat disruptive in its sector. For the design of the different product categories, we have used simple 3 colors and cute lively “statues” of dogs, which took the role of creating a strong emotional connection with the customers. The market is heavily saturated and can be confusing for dog owners who are always on the lookout for the best possible products for their pets. The design also has clear, compelling on-pack messages to get across the key benefits and not to be over-complicated with unnecessary information which can become daunting to dog owners. This is an inclusive brand that needs to appeal to ‘everyone’. The shape of bottles also will have an impact on marketing strategies: these little bottles are perfect to catch the attention of customers in their social media feed.

Since the packaging represents only the product concept and does not belong to an existing company, the Bobby&Po brand was invented.
