Gazebo Redesign

Slice Design

Slice Design creates new packaging design for Gazebo Fine Foods.

Gazebo Fine Foods have specialised in authentic Indian street food for over 35 years. They were looking to expand their range of snacks and meal solutions into other world food offerings and elevate the range into a more premium offering.

Slice Design were approached to create new branding and packaging design for Gazebo that positioned the brand as premium, one-of-a-kind street food.

Some world foods can seem a little bland and lacklustre. Street food is not just about the eating, it’s about the hustle, bustle and vibrancy of the contemporary urban street market. Based on a positioning of “Colour your life” we created new vibrant and energetic packaging design for Gazebo that captures this spirit.

Gazebo pride themselves on authenticity and creation of delicious meals in small batches. We wanted to make the consumer feel as though they had been transported to a bazaar in a country far away and bombard them with all of the sights, smells and culture they had to offer.

The new range has exceeded expectations and is fast-tracked for launches on the high street and in travel retail! Initially this will be with three samosas and is soon to be followed by many more products.

Agency Comments (Alan Gilbody, Founder & Director)

“Peeled-off posters, paint spray and graffiti capture the modern urban environment and evoke the different layers of culinary expertise, discovery of flavours and decades of experience that go into creating the most authentic street food.”

Client Comments (Sarah Hardy, Marketing Manager)

“We are delighted with the packaging designs created by Slice. We feel they encapsulate our vision, our values and the quality of our products. The designs are bright, appealing and modern but yet incorporate our heritage and the traditions behind our brand. We are excited to roll the products out to the market over the coming months and see the impact of this new look and feel.”
