EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, THE TRUE ESSENCE OF PACKAGING

The Donato Parisi farm, with 70 hectares of olive groves, has been producing and marketing extra virgin olive oil for four generations. Since 1879, the pioneer Giuseppe Donato, until today Enrico have been working with passion and determination, the oil is now recognized all over the world.

With the design of the new labels, in the brainstorming phase, we decided to mark the various passages from one heir to another with the dates of birth, this justifies the names.

The first product, in chronological order, is 1879. A harmonious blend, a synthesis of quality and tradition, is the year of birth of Giuseppe Donato Parisi; the one who represents the beginning of the family tradition.

The limited edition 1920 top blend was dedicated to Primo Parisi, the second generation of the family. The design of the label is more modern and minimal, with a gold finish.

At the end of the 90s, Donato Parisi decided to introduce a special selection of monocultivar oils. 1957 is an extra virgin olive oil produced with a single variety of olives, rich in details and multiple organoleptic properties. The different cultivars, harvested in the fields, are transported to the mill in a few hours, guaranteeing a product with a unique aroma, capable of enhancing different types of food. The 1957 labels have the same design but to differentiate them I used various colors and print finishes, gold, silver and copper. The papers used are stain-resistant and the presence of a mandala symbol of life and creative force, a shape that represents being all on the same level, being able to look into each other’s eyes and feel we are all part of the same path. This form occurs in every vital form and we find it very often in nature.

The formats of the bottles are different and the designs are declined for the different capacities. The finishing touches are always repeated also on the 3 and 5 liter cans.
