In 2015, Serge Henry Nora, a descendant of the first French cosmetologist Louis de Marck and an admirer of female beauty, discovered an original beauty recipe in his family archives — a cream recipe based on donkey milk, used by the enchanting favorites of the French king and passed down through generations in their family.
Mr. Nora decided to recreate this illustrious past and restore its noble status — to reintroduce the beauty rituals of the Grand Century to women. Thus was born the House of Beauty GRAND SIÈCLE PARIS.
The history began in 1665 — Señor Louis de Marck (the first court cosmetologist of the royal court) dedicated over two years to experimenting with various cream recipes and concluded that the most effective and potent method was skincare products based on donkey milk, with a centuries-old history.
The recipe has always been preserved in Versailles, in the heart of the royal residence with its magnificent chambers and halls, exquisite costumes, and royal balls of France.
