IMTENAN Essential Oils

Amal Abdelhady

Visual Design Concept:

The design concept for essential oil packaging emphasizes purity, nature, and simplicity. Green tones and botanical illustrations reflect the natural origins of the oils, while clean layouts and white backgrounds highlight their purity. Bilingual labeling ensures accessibility, and mentions of extraction methods, like steam distillation, add credibility. Decorative elements such as leaf patterns enhance the fresh, organic feel aligning with the wellness-focused identity of natural essential oil brands.

Structural Design Concept:

The bottle is designed using dark-colored or amber glass to block light, preserving the integrity of light-sensitive oils. Its rectangular shape optimizes space efficiency for transport and storage, reducing the risk of rolling or tipping. The bottle includes a pouring edge, effectively minimizing drips or leaks after pouring. This feature maintains cleanliness and avoids waste. The cork closure offers a sustainable, resealable option that keeps the contents airtight.

Save the Food Concept:

This bottle supports food preservation through its smart material and form. The dark glass prevents oxidation, which extends the shelf life of oils, especially essential or cold-pressed ones. Its precise pouring design helps avoid overuse or spillage, promoting mindful consumption and reducing food waste. Additionally, durable, recyclable glass supports environmental sustainability by reducing reliance on plastic packaging.

Disadvantages of Old Bottle:

  • Circular Shape: The bottle’s round shape can be less space-efficient compared to rectangular or square alternatives, leading to wasted space during storage or transport.
  • Narrow Neck: A narrow opening could make it difficult to dispense the oil evenly or cleanly, leading to mess and waste.
  • Plastic Bottle Cap: Less secure and non-sustainable, contributing to environmental waste and compromising product freshness.
