Plant Dill: Organic Seeds for Sowing

Plant Dill is an organic seed brand from Ukhrul District, offering seeds for sowing rooted in the region’s rich agricultural heritage and close relationship with the land. At its core is the idea of beginnings, where every seed marks the start of renewal, nourishment, and transformation. The brand reflects purity, sustainability, and a deep connection to the natural cycle of planting and growing.

At Medea, we developed the brand identity and packaging system around this philosophy of origin, growth, and emergence. Our approach was to create a visual language that feels grounded in nature, while allowing the packaging to stand distinctly within the seed category. The identity reflects both the simplicity of the seed itself and the richness of what it becomes over time.

The packaging palette is defined by dark green and pink. Dark green represents fertility, earth, foliage, and vitality, drawing from the richness of cultivated soil. Pink introduces softness and contrast, symbolising bloom, renewal, and the delicate unfolding of life from seed. Together, the colours create a balance between rootedness and bloom, strength and tenderness.

Rooted in Ukhrul and inspired by the cycle of cultivation, PlantDill translates the story of seed, soil, and growth into a packaging identity shaped by origin and possibility, where each pack carries the promise of what is yet to grow.
