La Fable

On the occasion of the release of a red Grenache Syrah from the Rhône Valley, we had the opportunity to decide on its name and create its label.

La Fable was born.

A fable is a short story that ends with a life lesson. We found this parallel with wine interesting, because behind every wine is a story.

This wine tells us its own story, that of a Grenache grape coupled with a Syrah on which the rays of the Rhone Valley sun have come to rest. With its hints of spice and pepper, it offers the taster a promise: an elegant, intense texture. The moral of “La Fable” is that behind the fusion of two grape varieties lies a guarantee of pleasure.

Behind the name “La Fable” lies another interpretation.

One could understand it as “L’affable”, which this time embodies the taster. Indeed, someone who is affable is nothing more or less than a positive person who welcomes what comes his way with grace.
