Touché is a special edition of the Pequenos Rebentos brand, by winemaker Márcio Lopes, elected Revelation Winemaker in 2019 by Revista Vinhos. Touché was launched as the “most expensive red vinho verde ever” and is limited to 1000 bottles. All this together required a graphic label that would jump off the shelf.
The name touché means discovering a new way of doing things; it can also mean the acknowledgment of a brilliant idea, like saying: hitting the nail on the head!
The label translates this moment: a target, in high contrast, and an arrow that pulls us towards the center. The back label and the tubular box emphasize the circular shape of the label and ensure that all attention is fixed on the arrows, where the wine presents itself.
Curator’s Insight
The label is the real star here. It’s got this funky target design with high contrast that makes your eyes go straight to the center, where this cool arrow sits. The arrow isn’t just for show; it’s like a story unfolding, and it pulls you in to learn more about the wine.
