The packaging project for fish snacks was designed to create a practical, attractive, and sustainable solution for a product that combines nutrition and convenience. The available flavors—tuna, salmon, sardine, and gilthead seabream—guided the development of the design, resulting in four stylized packages that highlight the identity of each fish and the commitment to simplicity and sustainability.

The central concept was to develop minimalist and functional packaging using recyclable materials that reflect the project’s environmental concerns. The overall aesthetic embraces a clean and modern design, featuring the silhouette of the fish corresponding to each flavor. This graphical representation is intentionally simplified to convey clarity and reinforce immediate product identification. Additionally, colors play a fundamental role in differentiating the flavors and connecting them to each fish’s marine habitat.

The colors were inspired by ocean tones, creating an engaging visual narrative. Tuna is represented by a deep navy blue, evoking the deep waters where it is found. Salmon features a cobalt blue, reflecting the purity and strength of rivers and fjords. Gilthead seabream is identified by a sky blue, associated with clearer, brighter coastal areas. Lastly, sardine adopts a light blue, inspired by shallow waters and the dynamic movement of schools of fish.

Throughout development, every detail was carefully considered to merge functionality with aesthetic appeal. The packaging was designed to be easy to carry, with compact formats that protect the snack and ensure freshness. The sustainable approach is reflected both in the choice of materials and in the conscious use of inks and finishes, ensuring that the final product meets the expectations of the modern consumer: a nutritious, flavorful snack aligned with responsible practices.
