ABOUT
vial is a conceptual multivitamin packaging project that explores how daily nutrition can be reframed as a system rather than a medical product. Instead of positioning multivitamins as corrective or urgent, the project treats them as a quiet, consistent part of everyday life.
The starting point was a simple question: if wellbeing is built over time through repetition, why do most supplements look like one-time solutions? vial responds by presenting nutrition as something structured, dependable, and integrated into daily routines, closer to infrastructure than treatment.
SOLUTION
The packaging identity is built on a disciplined grid system inspired by the modular logic of Tetris and the compositional rigor of Mondrian’s grid-based art. Repeating blocks represent individual nutrients working together over time, while deliberate subtractions reflect absorption, balance, and the body’s changing needs.
Solid forms establish stability and trust, essential attributes for a daily supplement, while uneven edges and missing segments introduce movement and adaptability. This balance allows the system to feel precise without becoming clinical, and structured without feeling rigid.
Colour is used sparingly as short visual markers within the system, referencing nutritional variety without overwhelming the composition. Typography and layout are treated as modular elements, reinforcing the idea of assembly, sequence, and consistency.
RESULT
The result is a packaging system that positions multivitamins as a daily discipline rather than a promise of transformation. vial presents nutrition as something calm, repeatable, and quietly effective, where long-term wellbeing is built through structure, balance, and sustained use.
