FARMYLO was created around a simple idea: the most memorable flavors begin with the land they come from. Inspired by Cyprus and the culinary traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, the packaging tells the story of herbs gathered, blended, and passed from one generation to the next.
At the center of the identity is za’atar—not presented simply as a spice, but as part of a wider landscape of olive trees, aromatic herbs, village life, and traditional food preparation. The illustrated scene transforms the package into a small window into this world, showing the connection between the ingredient, the people who prepare it, and the environment in which it belongs.
The visual language combines warm natural tones, botanical details, textured paper, and traditional-style illustration with a restrained contemporary layout. Rather than creating something overly rustic, the design balances heritage with refinement, giving FARMYLO the character of an authentic Mediterranean pantry brand while maintaining a premium presence.
The cylindrical za’atar pack became the hero of the system, while complementary products—including olive oil, herbs, sumac, tea, sachets, and gift packaging—extend the same visual story across the range. Repeated botanical motifs, earthy colors, and carefully structured typography help every item feel connected without making the collection repetitive.
Even the tactile experience supports the concept. Soft off-white surfaces, subtle paper textures, muted greens, warm browns, glass, metal, cork, and wood all reinforce the natural character of the ingredients and make the packaging feel considered and honest.
FARMYLO is ultimately a celebration of food as heritage: a brand designed not only to contain herbs and spices, but to preserve the atmosphere, rituals, and stories surrounding them. From the illustrated fields to the final jar on the table, every element is intended to bring a small piece of the Mediterranean landscape into everyday cooking.
