Gelatino is the oldest and one of the most traditional ice cream shops in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, they have been looking for a way to continue their business despite the current situation, deciding to take their best-selling Fantasy and Supreme cones directly to the homes of their customers. The difficulty of carrying and delivering ice cream in a tropical city that has a humid climate of approximately 25° to 28°C in packaging made of eco-friendly materials was our main challenge. We decided to use a bottom section of folded polygonal shapes that allude to the texture of traditional ice-cream cones and, as the top section, a straight, front-opening shape that recalls a freezer. The result surprises not only our client but also their most loyal consumers of their products.

What’s Unique?
Printed in a single water-based ink on bagasse cardboard made from natural cane and coated with natural waxes, the packaging respects all the rules: it is functional, impactful, representative, and – above all – friendly to the environment.
