Sweet Pink supply a range of products based on Cannabis Oil (CBD), this is a subject very close to Tannine, the founder’s heart. Tannine’s daughter Indie-Rose has a rare illness and the only thing that gave her any respite was cannabis oil. Unfortunately, the oil was only available in Holland which prompted Tannine to embark on a protracted legal process to get the product licensed for use in the UK.

After eventually succeeding in her battle to legalise the use of CBD for medicinal purposes Tannine wanted to share the positive benefits of the products, which are organic, vegan and contain no chemicals, with other people in need and Sweet Pink was born.

There are a number of products in the range and Creative 23 produced all of the packaging and branding. The style needed to be organic looking, clean and have the cannabis leaf worked into the logo sympathetically. We really wanted to capture Tannine and Indie’s personalities in the brand and make them stand out from everyone else in the industry.

The brand and what it stands for is incredibly important to Tannine and important to Creative 23 too and we are proud to have created some striking designs which do the brand justice.

The design of the packaging is intentionally more feminine and family orientated to distinguish the products from the main hardcore, clinical CBD designs that make up the majority of the market. The packaging forms a significant part of the overall strategy to educate and destigmatise the use of CBD oil and promote the health benefits.

Care and attention to detail throughout the design and creation process focused on ensuring that the packaging provides exceptional protection for the quality of the product whilst at the same time respecting the environment.

This ethos extends to the use of a Carbon Balanced Print Supplier and the sourcing of Natural Miron Violet Glass. The whole plant CBD oils are stored in miron violet-glass, a unique biophotonic glass packaging for natural products. This special glass protects the CBD oil from light, ensuring the longevity of the product inside. Using the miron glass, the CBD oils last longer and the cannabinoid it contains will not be as subject to the natural degradation that occurs in other bottles.
