Corpen Gin – Limited Edition

ABOUT

Flag signals are a very old form of communication that are still used today in navies around the world. Corpen gin is named for a naval flag that indicates a change in direction. When ships are moving together in formation, the lead ship raises the “corpen” flag to communicate an upcoming change in course to the other ships. This serves as a metaphor for how the artisanal distillery Corpen Gin was founded, as Brian, its founder, was an officer in the U.S. Navy, and several signals prompted him to change direction and bring his artisanal spirit to Barcelona.

THE PROJECT

With this limited edition, a tribute has been paid to all the people who embark on a change of direction in their lives to face new challenges. That’s why the flag icon had to be the focal point of this communication. Normally, the central label is responsible for conveying the concept of the story, where the strength and intention lie. But in this project, the hierarchy has been reversed, drawing all eyes to the neck label, like a ship at sea with its flag raised. To further enhance this idea, a custom box has been developed that allows you to see this neck label, thus closing the circle of the Corpen universe.
