Development of Label Design for a Haircare Brand
SLEEK by Cavilo is a professional haircare line specializing in advanced treatment products.
The brand’s focus is to deliver high-performance solutions for hair health, combining science with nature. Each product is formulated with nourishing ingredients like Argan Oil and Rosemary Oil to cater to a variety of hair concerns.

Task:
- Design Labels for Multiple Haircare Products:
The task was to design labels for the full range of SLEEK by Cavilo haircare products, including Anti-Hair Loss, Colored Hair Nourishing, and Protein-Enriched Shampoos, along with conditioners and nourishing oils. The labels needed to reflect the professionalism and effectiveness of the products while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic. - Brand Color Coding:
Colors were carefully chosen to differentiate each product type while maintaining brand consistency. Subtle color accents (red, green, purple, and more) were applied for easy product recognition without overshadowing the clean and minimalist design. - Photography for Product Launch:
Organized and conducted product photography to highlight the clean, professional look of the packaging. The images were designed to communicate the brand’s high-end positioning, with lighting techniques that emphasize the premium quality and sleekness of the packaging.

Labels were developed using a minimalist aesthetic that communicates the brand’s values. The design features soft, flowing elements that represent hair movement and transformation, while maintaining clear legibility and a clean layout. The design prioritizes functionality and simplicity, ensuring key product benefits (sulfate-free, paraben-free) are highlighted. - Subject Photography:
The product photography was aligned with the professional and minimalist identity of the brand. Utilizing sharp lighting and reflective surfaces, the shoot emphasized the elegance and high-quality nature of the packaging while maintaining focus on the product benefits. - Engagement with Target Audience:
Through strategic use of clean design and color accents, the labels and photography successfully capture the attention of the brand’s target audience, professionals, and beauty enthusiasts. The clear presentation of benefits (anti-hair loss, professional everyday care) engages customers at first glance, appealing to their desire for efficient, high-quality haircare solutions.
