Vico sanitary pad packaging redesign:

Nowadays, environmental awareness and individual responsibility are no longer a special topic. As a result, products that provide a no-compromise solution to everyday situations that can be easily integrated into everyday life are becoming more and more popular. One such product is the degradable sanitary pad called Vico, which was born from the rethinking of the packaging of Vivicot’s product manufactured by Sanicot.

With the new packaging, I wanted to create a look that would also function as a beautiful decoration on the bathroom shelves, and its beauty would bring a little joy even on a difficult day. So plants crawl over the outside of the box, and the space behind them is made playful by abstract spots. When we open the small “flower selence” above the inserts lined up inside, we come across a colorful interior patterned with the vico logo.

I would have liked the packaging of the insert to emphasize the product’s closeness to nature, which is not negligible in terms of its degradability. So I chose a nice recycled paper with a beautiful texture. In addition to its friendly appearance, practicality also played an important role, so the box closes easily thanks to the tabs on the side.
