DORADELA Handmade Ambrosia Honey

MANONEGRA Co

We developed a visual and narrative concept for the construction of Doradela’s identity that highlights its essence: an artisanal, sustainable and sophisticated honey, rooted in the natural wealth of Caicedonia, La Centinela del Valle (The Sentinel of the Valley).

The starting point was the brand’s symbol: the rabbit, chosen not only for its uniqueness in the market, but also for its deep mythological meaning.

In our research, we discovered that “sentinels” have been represented throughout history as guardians and observers of the world, charged with protecting and watching over it. Among the animals recognized for their sentinel role in nature, the rabbit stood out for its keen perception and connection to the environment.

In Celtic mythology, these creatures were considered messengers between the human and spiritual worlds, guides of the cycles of life and regeneration.

This interpretation resonated with Doradela’s values: care, balance and sustainability. Thus, the rabbit not only protects the honey, but embodies the brand’s commitment to preserving the bee habitat and harmony with nature.

From this conceptual background, we developed the graphic and strategic deployment of the identity, incorporating visual elements inspired by the native flora of Valle del Cauca: Pink Banana, Palm Leaf, Heliconia Aemygdiana and Acederilla (Oxalis Latifolia), each with a symbolic role in the brand’s narrative.

The result is an identity with an artisanal, oniric and traditional character, which not only reinforces the origin and purpose of Doradela, but also positions it as a differential brand within the honey market, with a rich history and an evocative visual universe.
