Robber Gin is a young brand from Abruzzo with a bold, irreverent spirit.
For them, we designed a packaging concept that borrows the visual language of customs inspections, only to turn it upside down with irony and provocation. The brief was clear: visually express the unconventional nature of a gin that doesn’t aim to please everyone, but only those ready to be surprised.
The packaging takes the shape of a small suitcase, made entirely from corrugated cardboard—a sustainable choice that aligns with the brand’s ethical positioning. On the front, a simple message “NOTHING TO DECLARE” mimics a standard customs declaration. But it’s just a cover.
The real message is revealed on the back: a collage of elderly hands pointing accusingly at the case’s contents. These judging fingers belong to an old, rigid, institutional world—everything that Robber Gin proudly sets itself apart from. A wild, youthful, rule-breaking spirit—as the name itself suggests—that has nothing to hide. In fact, it has everything to declare.
The project was created to surprise and entertain. It’s an invitation to break the rules, to stand out, to never go unnoticed.
Because every bottle of Robber Gin is a small, bold declaration of identity.
