This project was created for a hipster craft beer festival.
This festival is an incredible event that brings together beer enthusiasts, master brewers, and the hipster community. Here, every visitor has the opportunity to sample a variety of beer styles, each of which is unique in its own way. This festival becomes a true celebration for those who appreciate not only the taste of beer but also the art of its creation. In designing the visual aspect of this project, my aim was to ensure that it not only reflected the intricacies of the brewing process but also brought joy and inspiration to all festival attendees. The design was meant to be an integral part of the event’s atmosphere and to attract the attention of new participants and craft beer enthusiasts.
The concept idea originated from the fermentation process of the beverage in specialized vessels. When preparing various types of craft beer, a specific temperature and time are used, resulting in the formation of foam on the surface of the drink. By combining the imagery of a specialized thermometer for temperature measurement and beer foam, we managed to create an interesting concept and typography. The temperature on the measuring device varies depending on the type of beer.
This project was developed as part of the Master’s program in Art Direction at HSE UNIVERSITY ART AND DESIGN. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the project’s curator, Tatiana Dunaeva, for her guidance and support throughout the development of this concept.
