A playful, bold brand has been key to Gnaw’s success since they made their first chocolate bars in 2007. With the owners keen to continue their international growth and reduce their plastic use, a packaging redesign was needed. Gnaw returned to their original designer Mark Salisbury to create exciting, sustainable wrappers that would help move the brand forward.
Colourful illustrated patterns now highlight recipes, making full use of the canvas provided by the new paper wrappers. A delicious bespoke script tempts you to take a closer look, where you’ll find a unique version of Gnaw’s squirrel mascot on each of the designs. Underneath the wrapper, a compostable foil inner protects the chocolate, so when you’re finished with your treat the whole package can be composted at home.
What’s Unique?
Gnaw are helping to bring the fun back into a confectionery market that can often take itself a little too seriously, and reducing plastic waste at the same time!
