Estância Paraizo, a winery owned by the Mercio family, coming from Portugal – Archipelago of the Azores, to Rio Grande do Sul – Brazil in mid 1790, sought in this project a history of heredity, heroism, homage and pioneering spirit. The property holds the first brazilian register of Syrah variety, which defines the initial product briefing: “emphasize that we are the first Shiraz vineyard registered in Brazil”. In researching the history of the winery we discovered that its first founder was Camilo Mercio, a war hero who was also awarded the Order of the Military Rose as one of the knights of the personal guard of Brazilian Emperor Dom Pedro II. The Final Concept brings together the two ideas of pioneering in a scenario full of elements of history, mystery and origin.

What’s Unique?
The label combines a detailed illustration of the character and refined finishing details such as exclusive paper, embossing and metallic effects. The “number one” carved in the center of the label, revealing the glass, is certainly the striking mark of this project.
