This project arises from the search to create a drink focused on the natural wealth of the elements for its preparation; in addition to emphasizing the consumer experience and the spirit representation of it. It was there that the idea of the ancestral mezcal “Estertor” arose.
I was inspired by the physical and “spiritual” sensation you experience after drinking a good mezcal. The term “rattle” is defined as a small clicking, bubbling, or rumbling noise in the lungs produced when a person inhales.
The consumer is encouraged to take a breath and connect with the nature that surrounds us through its bold flavor, combining the freshness of eucalyptus and the organic nature of honey.
I designed the label using colors, fonts and other elements that reflect the nature of our ingredients. I wanted to give that handmade feel, like an illustration that is part of a botanical medicine recipe book, using gradients for the eucalyptus plants and honeycombs; thus creating a design that reinforces the feeling of calm and spirituality.
