The primary challenge of this rebranding project was to overcome the anxiety of “distance” and convince patients that their biological samples are safe while traveling across borders.
The Solution: The new visual identity and packaging system move away from cold, traditional medical aesthetics to project modern innovation, high-end reliability, and human hope. The packaging design—from sample kits to shipping mailers—acts as a physical assurance of safety. We developed a visual system centered around the concept of “The Link,” striking a balance between biological precision and human care.
The Design Philosophy: The logomark is a sophisticated fusion of three core elements:
The Double Helix: Representing DNA and scientific accuracy.
The Cells: Dots symbolizing the interconnectivity of biological systems.
The Star: A symbol of hope and guidance towards a cure.
The Palette: Stepping away from standard medical blues, the packaging utilizes a palette inspired by the laboratory environment: Turquoise (clean fluids/glass), Bluish Purple (UV lab lighting), and Navy Blue (trust/reliability). This creates a distinct, modern look that stands out in the medical sector.
