CONTEXT
Nestlé’s chocolate category was on a downward spiral, when Nestlé developed a new technology that allowed the brand to produce chocolate tablets in an atelier style way.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to invigorate Nestlé’s chocolate category with the creation of a new artisan flair chocolate sub brand that was able to break the existing codes on shelf.
SOLUTION
CBA created the ‘Les Recettes de L’Atelier ’ brand identity and a Visual Identity System based on artisanal design codes like textured material, watercolour traces, handwritten wordmarks, patinated effects as well as a focus on the “naked” product (real life tablet photography as main key visual on packaging). Over the years, CBA has worked on several ranges and developed in 2020 the gifting range.
