We present Piel de Mar, an organic Godello wine for which we developed both the naming and the packaging design.

Piel de Mar aims to be a graphic representation of fish scales and the way they shimmer when light hits them. This effect is achieved through four metallic foil stampings: two shades of blue, a silver grey, and a pearlescent finish. Some of the scales feature embossing to create a tactile sensory effect when touching the label. The design also incorporates the layering of two highly textured papers to create volume through multiple layers. In addition, the label features a wave-shaped die-cut along the top edge, evoking a connection with the sea. A distinctive bottle and a blue wax seal complete the design.

The back label includes the following storytelling text:
“Piel de Mar is the silent witness of marine life, a perfect balance between strength and beauty. A liquid fabric of silver and blue reflections that shines beneath the sunlight and holds the mysteries hidden in the depths of the sea.”
