Strathroy is Ireland’s oldest family owned dairy, based in Northern Ireland but with farmers & production locations throughout the island or Ireland. We were approached to redesign their entire product range. A process which will see them introducing a new design ethos to new and existing product throughout the island or Ireland. They wanted their packaging to stand out, have a unique hand feel and to be like no other milk manufacturer in the Emerald Isle.

As a family run concern, with a unique history we wanted to tell that story, to connect with the customer base and recognise how important every farmer, every animal and every community is to the company. After a great deal of research of dairy market, and after a whittling down our different concepts the client opted for curved brick carton, with simple fresh graphics highlighting the quality of the produce and country in which it’s produced.

Our main goal was to to have the packaging live up to the quality of the product it contained.

What’s Unique?
The introduction of the Pure-Pal® Diamond carton (by ELOPAK) combines functionality and shape and is unique in the Irish market. This gable top carton is designed to give space for a bigger cap which gives improved convenience such as better opening and optimized pouring features. The additional curved panel, the Curve® feature can be used as a communication tool for product features, brand differentiation and on-pack-promotions. Integrating a fantastic ‘hand feel’ and advanced print enhancing the product design for shelf stand out.
