Who am I? Package Design

About

As part of my MA Graphic Design course, I had to create a design publication reflecting my identity as a designer.

Approach

Instead of creating a conventional book publication, I created a package design as a form of 3D publication to showcase my design skills. I achieved this by mixing print and handmade paper collage and packaging techniques. My identity was reflected in the form of the package whilst my skills were represented in the forms of labels found in food packaging. All of these aspects with considerations using eco-friendly paper, as well as making it interactive.

Outcome

This project is a creative reflection of my manifesto, design skills, personality and statement of intent for the course, all of them, as a product of my environment. The package focuses on minimalistic design, with physical and digital interactivity and creative copywriting similar to food packaged products. The package was designed as a section of a house represented as a Portuguese-style window from Goa, India where my creative journey began. You’ll find me reaching out to clients from the window, also representing my approach, and ability to discover, learn and share my creative skills to the world.
