Tornado Potato

This is a project where we innovated on the packaging of a well known snack, the Tornado Potato (a.k.a. Potato Twister).

Design Brief: “To design a suitable packaging for Tornado Potatoes as an ‘on-the-go’ and delivery snack that is easy to unpack, convenient to dispose, and enhances the experience of consuming the snack”

With the prevalent convenience of food delivery services such as Zomato, Swiggy, Uber Eats, etc. young customers would love to enjoy this delicious snack in the comfort of their personal space, however, the condition in which this snack reaches their doorstep is simply sad and unpacking this snack is even more pathetic as it simply creates a mess.

After conducting some research and gathering insights, we addressed the problems in the experience of consuming the potato twister and derived a packaging solution that is intriguing, easy to open and convenient to handle on-the-go.
