This project revolves around creating naming, logo and packaging design for Mont Joie, a skincare brand that aims to empower girls with imperfect figures and those who have lost faith in their self-worth. Mont Joie represents a journey towards embracing self-love and confidence through its thoughtfully crafted skincare products.
Mont Joie is a name in French that is reminiscent of the expression ‘ma joie’ meaning ‘my joy’. For a cosmetic brand, Mont Joie becomes a unique classic. Additionally, Mont Joie is a battle cry used by the armies of the kings of France, symbolizing the army’s flag under which they gather before going into battle. Furthermore, Mɔ̃ʒwa is the name of a commune in France. It is easy to pronounce (‘Mɔ̃ʒwa’), but can be difficult to read and write. All these aspects make Mont joie unique.
The packaging design concept is deeply rooted in the brand’s ethos of lightness, femininity, and strength. It embodies the spirit of joy and resilience that Mont Joie stands for. By using elegant lines and soft colors, we aimed to create a sense of comfort and beauty that resonates with the target audience.
