TINSI is a brand lollipops with bugs inside inspired by Chinese street culture. The packaging draws heavily on the aesthetics of Chinese vending machines: it is covered with vibrant stickers that echo the shapes of the candies inside the box and appear to scatter across the surface like real insects
SOLUTION:
The boxes are made of plastic, which makes them reusable, and their design echoes the shape of vending machines. They feature a rectangular form with a transparent window that allows the lollipops to be seen inside, as well as a small door at the bottom through which the candy can be retrieved. This format makes consuming the lollipops simple and convenient, allowing them to be enjoyed easily on the go.
The key feature of the branding lies in the use of stickers: each box is covered with stickers that replicate the shape of the candies inside and vary in color depending on the flavor. Every sticker contains a stylized letter, and together these letters form pictograms resembling insects. The stickers are applied in a random arrangement, reflecting the spirit of street art and the chaotic movement of crawling bugs. As a result, each box is unique and visually distinct from the others.
RESULT:
The vending-machine-inspired packaging supports a playful, social way of sharing candy, making it especially suitable for groups of friends.
