Barista is a coffee roasters company with a focus on the engineering approach. They roast each pack for each client individually, preserving taste and aroma, and put this information on the pack.
The audience is coffee enthusiasts, experts in blends, roasts, and coffee making. The task was to create a prominent utilitarian design that would let us change information on the pack promptly and easily.
As people value the beans themselves, the design was made product-oriented. The core of aesthetics is intellectual minimalism that focuses on information, not on decor. The logo represents both a coffee bean and the ‘no stops’ road sign — what we do and what we value. The ascetic black-and-white colour palette and (not that) simple typography based on the basic grotesque font use helped to create an adjustable and standout design language.
