Sladkoe Solenoe (Sweet Salty): Branding of a Confectionery Project
Sladkoe Solenoe is a new online confectionery by Julia Vysotskaya. The name developed from the #сладклесолёное (“#sweetsalty”) hashtag, which Julia uses for video recipes on her Instagram account and YouTube channel. The brand is primarily geared towards online sales, but desserts can also be bought offline in two cooking studios. We needed to create a holistic visual image to help tell about the brand values and product quality intelligibly.

The corporate identity naturally maintains the brand vibe: trendy, light, airy, sweet, playful. Minimalistic, but not too much. A subtle palette brings together “sweet” and “edible” colors. In combination with a calligraphic name, they immediately make us think of a confectionery, while a corporate logo represented by a “JV” monogram highlights the brand status and authorship.
