Turra and the legacy for solidarity.
“Some say that dogs are a man’s best friend, and without a doubt, Turra is born as a tribute to companionship, friendship and devotion. As an integral part of the creation of this wine – relationship and union, it is this feeling that we want to connect to our wine”.
One week after we visited the little dog Turra, in the property where the wine is produced, she passed away. The concept we had developed became meaningless, and generated a feeling of emptiness. We needed something transcendental. That is how the idea emerged, and Turra could leave her legacy through a donation to an institution supporting animals, named “O Midas” (www.associacaomidas.org – non-profit association)
This was the challenge – to place on the label, the value of the donation for a wine bottle, with seriousness and subtlety. The solution was build on the concept of “scratch card”, as the value of the donation was capped to incite customers to participate in this action.
This red wine was intended for the national and international market. It required that we found a disruptive identity, through strong colours and a significant typographical presence.
