Sumius

“Sumius”, a wine produced by Xavier Ferreira in the Monção and Melgaço Sub-Region – Vinho Verde D.O.C. – Portugal.

The label was inspired by an underground cave in the Mouro river, accessible only in summer, located in a pebble rock massif, in Tangil, Monção.

For the design, Moço Wine Branding developed a minimalist approach, with an elegant cut that accentuates the sensation of slope, creating an image with impact and visual contrast.

Curator’s Insight

“Sumius” minimalist approach is a visual delight; it’s also a tactile experience, mirroring the slopes of that pebble-strewn cave in Tangil, Monção. It’s an invitation to touch and feel the very essence of the terrain from which “Sumius” springs.
