Punto de Fuga is the geometric location where the emotions of the Viña Zorzal and Matías Michelini families converge to create wines from extreme landscapes and unique terroirs all over the world. There is a great feeling behind this project that unites friends in a common goal: to share and enjoy wines that make our hearts sing.

D.O. Navarre says about this wine: “The Punto de Fuga range is a joint venture between Viña Zorzal Wines in Navarra and Matías Michelini from Argentina. An old-vine Garnacha from the village of Fitero produced with a light hand, it transported me to the Northern Rhône (think Côte-Rôtie). The bottles are going to be dressed with labels that carry their true electrocardiograms. Talk about a coup de coeur!”

Viña Zorzal was born in 1989, the result of the effort and passion for the world of wine transmitted by Antonio Sanz to his three sons, who are currently in charge of the winery.

Viña Zorzal produces wines in the DO Navarra and the DOC Rioja, and rescues the autochthonous varieties that had been left out so far (Graciano and Garnacha).

One of its vineyards located in Fitero, right in the geological separation between the Sierra de Cameros and the Ebro Basin, is one of the oldest known in Navarra. Specifically, it is a 115-year-old Garnacha vineyard that has survived the phylloxera.

In Corella, a town historically linked to wine due to the characteristics of its soils, there are the Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha vineyards.

They also make wines under the DO Rioja, with vineyards controlled at 550 meters above sea level.

They practice an ecological viticulture and based on minimal intervention, carrying all the processes manually. In the winery they continue with this philosophy, the fermentations are spontaneous, they avoid racking and the wines are not filtered or clarified.
