When experienced Winemaker Paul Warson decided to create his own brand of wine, he tasked CF Napa with designing the packaging. It was of utmost importance that the packaging reflected his friendly, casual approach to winemaking and the social aspect of sharing a bottle of wine.
Drawing inspiration from Paul’s attraction to fine art and his current home of Los Angeles, we created a graphic that is an abstract representation of the ocean meeting the shore. The minimal text is kept to the bottom of the label under the beach scene; much like a plaque that accompanies an art piece in a museum. The straightforward display of information and the nostalgic delight of a day at the beach create a brand that is approachable to any consumer from wine novice to experienced imbiber.
