ORO – Toscana Rosso IGT

The wine itself was a source of inspiration for the graphic project, as often happens to us. This Toscana Rosso IGT is the expression of the Tuscan harvest, made with a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc, the “GOLD” (ORO in Italian) of Tuscany.

To represent the two grape varieties of ORO, the two female faces appear in this label, together. Among them, the poppy, a rustic and delicate flower of the Tuscan countryside that is not uncommon to see among the rows in the spring and early summer months. To symbolize the mastery and meticulous work, there is the earring of one of the girls, which represents Tuscany and it is a tribute to the great Florentine goldsmiths.

A wine called ORO (GOLD in English) needs precious materials. The label includes: 3D hot-melt gold for the name, gold foil for the frame, for the logo and for the earring; finally, braille for the poppy and the girls’ eyes, in which it recalls an extraordinary brightness making the eye “alive”. Wow!
