As the story goes, when the cowboy found himself at a crossroads, he heard the raven’s cry in the distance. The warning between life or death: the blood-chilling sound that gave him the choice between saving his life or facing the gates of hell.

The label design is inspired by elements of the Wild West, such as cowboy showdowns, saloon doors and the detailed engravings found on revolvers. We were drawn to the concept of opposites, such as life and death, and objects that can be both innocent and lethal. And at night, a new layer of dangers is revealed.

This is a student project from the Packaging Design Masters at the university Elisava, in Barcelona, Spain. It was made by Nicole Strubing, María José Quiroga and Laura Fernández. This week-long class was taught by Asa Cook, from Intertype Studio.
