Ahav is a brand of healthy, vegan, and gluten-free cookie dough that aims to provide a tasty and convenient alternative to traditional treats that are high in carbs and calories. The brand is also committed to supporting individuals with eating disorders by donating a portion of its profits to the National Eating Disorder Association (Neda). Our challenge was to create a branding strategy that would effectively communicate the health benefits and deliciousness of Ahav’s products while also highlighting the brand’s social responsibility.
To convey the brand’s message, we focused on creating a vibrant and appetizing visual identity. We used bright and cheerful colors as scientific evidence suggests that such colors can help communicate a sense of deliciousness. We also incorporated circular elements into the design as they can make the product appear sweeter. Additionally, we wanted to emphasize the fact that Ahav’s cookie dough has only five to six ingredients, so we created a seal to showcase this on the front of the packaging.
To emphasize the brand’s social responsibility, we included information about Neda’s donation on the packaging. Overall, our branding strategy successfully communicated Ahav’s message of a healthy and delicious snack, while also highlighting the brand’s commitment to social responsibility. The resulting packaging design was eye-catching, informative, and aligned with the brand’s values.
