Luciano Monosilio, King of Carbonara

Luciano, enfant prodige of Italian cuisine received his first Michelin star at just 27 years old. Contemporary cuisine is his great passion as well as Italian regional tradition and, in his restaurant Luciano Cucina Italiana, he produces all the pasta he uses in his recipes, customers fall in love with it and hence the idea of packaging the most appreciated.

The image of him in black and white tells of the pride with which the chef offers his recipes, which never lack pasta. The bright colors that distinguish the different formats are the mirror of the liveliness of Luciano’s proposals, the print characters that outline the brand and the name of the format are irregular because they are out of the ordinary but decisive and stimulating that leave their mark, like his pasta.

Curator’s Insight

What truly sets this packaging apart are the vibrant colors and bold irregular typography that adorn the different pasta formats. The characters that form the brand and the format names are deliberately irregular and they defy convention but do so with boldness and vigor, leaving an indelible impression – a reflection of his culinary spirit, unapologetically unique and unforgettable.
