A new striking visual identity for The Best Big Craft Brewery in México

In 2020, Buquibichi Brewery, a multi-awarded brewery located in the Mexican Northwest, was selling 5 different types of finely crafted beers. They were perfect and vastly loved by customers in their tap rooms. The only thing missing was a package worthy of carrying such excellent brews to display at hundreds of points of purchase.

The result was nothing less than a vibrant new look to the most renowned craft brewery in the Mexican northwest. The new narrative proposed by Agencia Viernes gave the Buquibichi brand soul and meaning to their communication. The logo rework took the original one and made it much more crisp with only subtle arrangements; and the new package design for their 5 beers finally reflected their unique identity.

Each Buquibichi beer can now reflect the true colors of each of their different brews, using colors, typographies, and messages that match the sensations of personalities of the IPA (SahuarIPA), Hazy IPA (Bitachera), Stout (Talega), Kölsch (Banquetera) and Amber Ale (Chúcata) crafts.

Through extensive research, interviews, focus groups, benchmarking, and a lot of beer tasting, Viernes successfully achieved a vivid and much-needed makeover to one of the most important breweries in México and made Buquibichi deeply satisfied with the overall outcome.
