This award-winning packaging project repositions TiQuero’s hot sauce line by breaking away from the category’s traditional focus on heat and using design as a strategic tool to create value.

Instead of justifying a higher price, the brand chose to communicate premium positioning, authenticity, and experience. The solution is a strong, scalable visual system with reduced visual noise, clear hierarchy, and hand-drawn illustrations that reinforce the perception of a “handcrafted flavor.

A key consumer insight led to the creation of exclusive mascots, transforming each flavor into a memorable character. This approach builds emotional connection while maintaining a sophisticated look, appealing to both adult and family audiences without losing credibility.

The new packaging delivers stronger shelf impact, improves brand recognition, simplifies choice at the point of sale, and supports portfolio expansion. More than aesthetics, design here organizes decision-making, builds perception, and drives measurable business results.
