Freakshow in the Dark

Crafted by Michael David Winery in Lodi, California, Earthquake wines are big and bold – some might even say they’re off the charts.

The goal with our package redesign for these beloved wines was to elevate the brand and highlight their focus on sustainability while maintaining their strong brand recognition. Taking inspiration from the Richter scale element from the original package, we combined an elegant, textured bottom label, accented with spot varnish and gold foil, with delicate copper screenprinting for an unexpected combination that ensure these wines are a force to be reckoned with.
