With a mission to “Save the Gravenstein!,” Golden State Cider proudly hails from Sebastopol, California, once known as the Gravenstein Apple Capital of the World.
With a strong rallying cry behind their rebrand, they’re bringing delicious, apple-driven dry ciders to the Golden State and beyond. Once essentially the only canned cider on the market, GSC came to us to help them defend their top-selling cider status at Whole Foods by standing out on the shelf amidst a more crowded marketplace. We did so by placing more focus on the brand itself with the creation of an iconic logomark, bringing in more color accents to highlight different flavors, and utilizing creative print techniques to take advantage of the can’s natural metallic sheen, all while creating a more premium feel overall.
