Today in the office at Modern World Studio Justin:

  • I started it but I just don’t have any ideas, my head feels empty, I have no energy.

Inessa:

  • Look Justin, we need to get this done, here I have an idea, take this and just take one sip, but remember ONLY ONE.

Justin being Justin decided to take multiple sips… Bang! A sudden flash of light soared through the sky and slapped Justin directly across the face, illuminating the office room with a bright radiance of heat. As he looked down to read the packaging of what he had just drank, all that was heard was a loud scream, “POWERBOOST” this sound shook the walls of the entire building. The next 10 minutes almost went by in a flash… it was 5:55 and Justin managed to not only finish his assigned text, but 5 more on top of that. What had happened, he asked himself? Well, the answer was clear, he seemingly managed to boost his way through the day…

The design for this project was truly great (not as good as finishing work early but still comparable) everyone in our team felt a strong sense of passion for this project, a feeling which is highly rare globally across the workplace. We created designs which not only fit the corporate aims of brand identity blah blah blah… but which also are bright, distinct, and memorable. All ideas in this project quite literally slapped us across the face, almost in the same way the sip of PowerBoost gave birth to a new Justin. We have already worked on the logo for Powerboost, creating the unique red tick which rises almost at the same rate as your personal debt.

We developed designs for 4 different tasty flavors which very clearly communicate what the product is through the use of bright, almost arrogant shades of colors which are in your face. The bright red almost infuriated bull evokes a feeling of strength and energy which is crucial to the brand. The text which describes the benefits of the product is a key component, clearly letting customers (or people like Justin in this case) know exactly what they are getting themselves into. The text “Energy shot” neatly features an exclamation mark positioned directly through the O, the face of the packaging is split in two separate sides, with their being a swoosh effect spinning across the surface of the design for the fruit flavored shots. Overall, we brought many interesting ideas together to produce a design which is not only suitable to the brand but also evokes the feeling of rejuvenation that we seek to drive.
