INTRODUCING GREY GOOSE ALTIUS, A NEW VODKA DESIGNED BY INTERTYPE STUDIO
THE NEW BOTTLE CAPTURES THE WONDER AND RARE NATURAL LUXURIES OF THE FRENCH ALPS.
GREY GOOSE introduces its newest ultra-premium innovation from the brand, GREY GOOSE Altius. Drawing inspiration from the French Alps, the latest release is filtered at sub-freezing temperatures to capture the rare wonder of the mountains.
Intertype studio created a bespoke bottle structure featuring a windswept glacial mountain in the punt. When rotated, the flowing facets on the sides refract the scene within the bottle, and the single mountain becomes a mountain range.
GREY GOOSE Altius was created with processes inspired by the extraordinary, natural effects of high-altitude crystallization that happens at glacial conditions to yield a remarkably smooth vodka using Alpine spring water and winter wheat from Picardie. The unique process includes GREY GOOSE Altius being filtered at a very low pressure of -24 degrees Celsius, resulting in a glacially smooth taste and velvety mouthfeel. The concept was designed to communicate these liquid qualities. With the tri-geese icon soaring above the mountain landscape in the upper atmosphere.
As the pioneer of the super-premium category and the world’s top-selling vodka (Drinks International 2024), GREY GOOSE Altius has been created to satisfy the growing consumer appetite for high quality drinks. With the prestige white spirits category predicted to grow by 79% in the next five years (IWSR 2022), the new expression will provide people with a meticulously crafted liquid that elevates special occasions.
GREY GOOSE Altius will initially launch at premier European destinations, such as Ibiza, Mykonos and Saint Tropez, the new expression will make its debut in select U.S. cities in July and in Dubai this autumn. GREY GOOSE Altius will be exclusively offered at the world’s best bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
In addition to creating the bottle, Intertype Studio created the launch comms, with statics for below the line shot by Jason Bailey Studio. Above the line advertising and motion was shot by Andy Grimshaw.
